Nananthus vittatus is a perennial, succulent plant in the Aizoaceae family. It is native to the Northern Cape, North West, and Free State provinces of South Africa. Known as banded nananthus in English and brakveldvygie or stryvygie in Afrikaans, the species was first described in 1928 by Schwantes, with the original authorship attributed to N.E.Br.

Description

Nananthus vittatus is a member of the Aizoaceae family and is found in the Cape Provinces, Free State, and Northern Provinces of South Africa. This succulent perennial is endemic to the Northern Cape, North West, and Free State. The species was published in 1928 under the authorship of Schwantes, based on the original work by N.E.Br.
