Najas graminea, a species of aquatic plant, is found in freshwater habitats such as ponds and rice fields. It has monoecious flowers and a flowering season from July to September. The plant can grow up to 30 cm in length.

Najas graminea, commonly known as Naiad, is an aquatic plant belonging to the Hydrocharitaceae family. It is distributed across regions including BR, Afrotropical, Australasian, Oriental (Indomalaya), Palaearctic, Pacific (Oceania), TW, HR, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Great Britain, GB, IT, GR, Bulgaria, Corse (Corsica), Greece, and Italy. The plant thrives in still or slow-moving freshwater environments and reaches a maximum length of 30 cm. Its flowers are monoecious, and it flowers from July to September. First described in 1813, it is a species of the genus Najas.
