Solidago simplex, known as Mt. Albert Goldenrod, is a species in the Asteraceae family. It is found in Canada, the United States, and northeastern Mexico.

Solidago simplex, the Mt. Albert Goldenrod, is a North American plant in the genus Solidago of the family Asteraceae. It is distributed across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Vermont-US, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, and parts of Mexico. First described in 1818, it is a widespread species found in various regions of Canada, the United States, and northeastern Mexico.
