Olinia emarginata, described by Burtt Davy in 1926, is a tree belonging to the genus Olinia in the family Penaeaceae. It is found in the Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, and Northern Provinces. The species is commonly referred to as Mountain Hard Pear in English and berghardepeer in Afrikaans.
