Mountain gardenia

Atractocarpus merikin, also referred to as mountain gardenia, is a plant species belonging to the Rubiaceae family. This species is native to Queensland, where it is found in its natural habitat. It was first described in 1999 and is part of the genus Atractocarpus. The species is recognized by its common name in English, mountain gardenia, and is confined to the region of northeast Queensland.
