Equisetum variegatum, known as Mottled Scouring-Rush, is a vascular plant in the Equisetaceae family. It is native to the northern hemisphere and has a circumpolar distribution.

Description

Equisetum variegatum, described by Schleich. ex F.Weber & D.Mohr in 1807, is a member of the Equisetaceae family. It is commonly referred to as Mottled Scouring-Rush in English and is found in regions such as Greenland, Labrador, Newfoundland, and various Canadian provinces, as well as parts of Europe. This species is part of the horsetail family and is native to the northern hemisphere.
