Crassula tillaea, known as moss pygmyweed, is a small succulent plant in the Crassulaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean Basin and parts of Eurasia, and has been introduced to other regions. The plant grows only a few centimeters tall, with triangular leaves and tiny flowers. It is found in various locations, including parts of Europe and the Atlantic islands.

Description

Crassula tillaea is a small fleshy plant that reaches only a few centimeters in height. It has triangular leaves a few millimeters long and produces tiny flowers between each pair of oppositely arranged leaves. The flowers are approximately two millimeters in size. The plant's color changes from green when young to orange and then deep red when mature. It is native to the Mediterranean Basin and parts of Eurasia, but has been introduced to other regions. It is found in areas such as British Columbia, Açores, Madeira, and various islands in the Atlantic. The plant produces a small follicular fruit containing one or two seeds.
