Monotes kerstingii is a species in the Dipterocarpaceae family, native to several countries in West and Central Africa. It was first described in 1908 by Gilg.

Description

Monotes kerstingii belongs to the genus Monotes within the Dipterocarpaceae family. This species is distributed across several African countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, Sudan, and Togo. It is also found in the regions of Haute-Guinée and Moyenne-Guinée. The species was first published in 1908 by the botanist Gilg.
