Deutzia parviflora, a member of the Hydrangeaceae family, is a shrub native to regions in Asia and North America. It is commonly known as Mongolian pride-of-rochester. This species was first described in 1835 by Bunge. It is found in conterminous 48 United States, China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Georgia, Inner Mongolia, Khabarovsk, Korea, Manchuria, and Primorye.

Description

Deutzia parviflora is a shrub species within the Hydrangeaceae family. It is native to a wide range of regions, including parts of China, Korea, Manchuria, and the Russian Far East, as well as the conterminous 48 United States and the U.S. state of Georgia. The species was first scientifically described in 1835 by the botanist Bunge. Its common name, Mongolian pride-of-rochester, is used in English. The plant is part of the genus Deutzia, which includes various shrubs known for their ornamental value and clusters of small, often showy flowers.
