Moehringia muscosa L. is a species in the Caryophyllaceae family, native to southeastern Europe and parts of the Mediterranean. It was first described in 1753.

Description

Moehringia muscosa L. is a member of the Caryophyllaceae family, commonly known as carnations or carnation family. It is distributed across southeastern Europe, including Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Sicilia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia. The species was first published in 1753 by Carl Linnaeus.
