Minuartia bosniaca, known as Bosnian sandwort, is a plant species in the carnation family, Caryophyllaceae. It is endemic to the East Dinaric mountains and is found in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Yugoslavia.

Description

Minuartia bosniaca, also referred to as bosanska mišjakinjica in Bosnian, is a member of the Caryophyllaceae family. This species is native to the East Dinaric mountain range and is restricted to the regions of Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, and former Yugoslavia. The plant was first described in 1908 and is part of the genus Minuartia, which includes small, herbaceous flowering plants. Its distribution is limited to the Balkan Peninsula, where it grows in specific alpine or subalpine habitats.
