Prostanthera ovalifolia, known as mintbush, is a shrub in the Lamiaceae family native to New South Wales and Queensland. It was first described in 1810. The plant features egg-shaped leaves and clusters of mauve to deep blue-purple flowers at the ends of its branches.

Description

Prostanthera ovalifolia is an erect shrub with oval-shaped leaves and mauve to deep blue-purple flowers grouped at the ends of branchlets. It belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is found in south-eastern Australia. This species was published in 1810 and is commonly called mintbush.
