Micropholis rugosa is a species in the genus Micropholis, belonging to the family Sapotaceae. It was first described in 1891 by (Sw.) Pierre. This species is distributed globally, with records in Jamaica.

Description

Micropholis rugosa is part of the Sapotaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the sapote family. The species is native to Jamaica and has a global distribution. It was formally published in 1891 under the authorship of (Sw.) Pierre. The genus Micropholis includes several species of trees and shrubs, many of which are found in tropical regions.
