Description

Micropholis crassipedicellata, described by Pierre in 1891, belongs to the genus Micropholis and is part of the Sapotaceae family. Its distribution is limited to Brazil, particularly in the Northeast, Southeast, and South regions. The species is endemic to the Atlantic Forest, where it faces threats from habitat degradation and loss.
