Micromeria lanata

Micromeria lanata belongs to the genus Micromeria within the Lamiaceae family, commonly known as the mint family. This species is indigenous to the Canary Islands. The scientific name was formally published in 1834 by Bentham, following the original description by C.Sm. ex Link. As a member of the Lamiaceae, it shares characteristics typical of the family, such as aromatic properties and opposite leaf arrangement.
