Microchirita micromusa is a species in the Gesneriaceae family, native to Thailand. It was formally described in 2011 by A. Weber and D.J. Middleton, based on earlier work by B.L. Burtt.

Description

Microchirita micromusa (B.L.Burtt) A.Weber & D.J.Middleton is a member of the Gesneriaceae, a family of flowering plants commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. This species is endemic to Thailand, where it grows in its native habitat. The scientific name was published in 2011, with A. Weber and D.J. Middleton recognizing and reclassifying the species based on the original work by B.L. Burtt. The genus Microchirita includes several species of herbaceous plants, often characterized by their small, delicate flowers and terrestrial or epiphytic growth habits.
