Description

Microchirita lavandulacea is a member of the genus Microchirita and is found in southern Vietnam. It belongs to the Gesneriaceae family, a group of flowering plants often characterized by their showy flowers and tropical to subtropical distribution. The species was formally published in 2011 by Yin Z. Wang, who reclassified it from earlier work by Stapf.
