Abies flinckii is a conifer species in the genus Abies, native to central Mexico. It occurs along the Transmexican Volcanic Belt at elevations between 2 km and 3.5 km above sea level. The species is commonly known as the Jalisco fir or Michoacán Fir in English.

Description

Abies flinckii, described by Rushforth in 1989, belongs to the Pinaceae family. It is a fir species found in central Mexico, particularly associated with the Transmexican Volcanic Belt. This tree thrives in high-altitude environments, growing between 2 km and 3.5 km elevation. It is locally referred to as the Jalisco fir or Michoacán Fir.
