Picea meyeri, known as Meyer's Spruce, is a spruce species belonging to the Pinaceae family. It is native to regions in China, including Nei Mongol, Gansu, Shanxi, Hebei, and Shaanxi. The species was first described in 1914 by Rehder and E.H. Wilson.

Description

Picea meyeri is a coniferous tree species that occurs in several provinces in China. Its distribution spans from the northeast to the southwest, covering areas such as Nei Mongol, Gansu, Shanxi, Hebei, and Shaanxi. As a member of the Pinaceae family, it shares characteristics with other spruce species, including needle-like leaves and conical seed cones. The species was formally published in 1914 by botanists Rehder and E.H. Wilson.
