Mentzelia procera is a species in the Loasaceae family, native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. It was published in 2010 and is part of the Mentzelia genus.

Description

Mentzelia procera (Wooton & Standl.) J.J.Schenk & L.Hufford is a member of the Loasaceae family, commonly known as the loasa family. It is found in the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas in the United States, as well as in the Northeast and Northwest regions of Mexico. The species was formally described in 2010. It belongs to the Mentzelia genus, which includes flowering plants native to the Americas.
