Description

Mentzelia longiloba is a member of the Loasaceae family and is found in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and parts of Mexico, including the Northeast and Northwest regions. The species was formally described by J.Darl. in 1934. It is one of several species within the genus Mentzelia, which is characterized by showy, often yellow flowers and is commonly found in arid and semi-arid environments.
