Melanthium parviflorum is a plant species in the Melanthiaceae family, native to several regions in the southeastern United States. It was first described in 1879 by S. Watson, based on earlier work by Michx.

Description

Melanthium parviflorum is a member of the Melanthiaceae family and is found in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The species is part of the genus Melanthium and was formally published in 1879. The name was later revised by S. Watson, who credited the original work of Michx.
