It has been reported as an invasive species in the Sonoran Desert, particularly around Tucson, Arizona.

Description

Matthiola parviflora (Schousb.) W.T.Aiton is a flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family. It is native to areas such as Madeira, the Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, Israel, and Jordan. The species has been documented as an invasive in the Sonoran Desert, with occurrences noted around Tucson, Arizona. It was first described in 1812.
