Matthiola fragrans is a flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family, found in Ukraine, south, east, and central European Russia, and Kazakhstan. It grows specifically on chalk outcrops.

Description

Matthiola fragrans (Fisch.) Bunge is a species of the genus Matthiola in the Brassicaceae family. It is native to regions including Ukraine, parts of European Russia, and Kazakhstan. The plant is restricted to chalk outcrops. It was first described in 1839.
