Serruria aitonii, known as Marshmallow Spiderhead, is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape, growing from the Cederberg and Sandveld to the Groot-Winterhoek Mountains and Piketberg. The plant reaches a height of 1.0 m and flowers from July to November.

Description

Serruria aitonii is a member of the genus Serruria and is part of the fynbos vegetation. It is distributed globally but is primarily found in the Cape Provinces. This shrub is characterized by its rounded shape and is described as a flower-bearing plant. It was first published in 1810.
