Description
Plagiomnium affine (Blandow) T.J.Kop., a member of the Mniaceae family, is commonly known as many-fruited thyme-moss. It is distributed across regions including Madeira Island, Flanders, Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and parts of North America such as Vermont. The species thrives in old-growth boreal forests, preferring moist, basic to slightly acidic environments in woodland and turf. It was first published in 1968.
