Manilkara huberi is a fruit-bearing plant in the genus Manilkara of the family Sapotaceae. It is known by several common names, including masaranduba, níspero, and sapotilla.

Description

Manilkara huberi (Ducke) Standl. is a species native to the Northeast, North, and West-Central regions of Brazil, as well as French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. It belongs to the Sapotaceae family, commonly referred to as the sapodilla or sandalwood family. The species was first described in 1933.
