Manilkara concolor is a species in the genus Manilkara of the family Sapotaceae. It was first described in 1948 by Gerstner, based on earlier work by Harv. The species is native to regions including KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, the Northern Provinces, and Swaziland.

Description

Manilkara concolor is a member of the Sapotaceae family, commonly known as the sapote family. It is found in parts of southern Africa, specifically in the regions of KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, the Northern Provinces, and Swaziland. The species was formally described in 1948 by Gerstner, who cited the earlier work of Harv. as the basis for its classification. This species is part of the genus Manilkara, which includes a number of tree species primarily found in tropical regions.
