Rhizophora apiculata, known as mangrove, is a species in the Rhizophoraceae family. It is native to regions including Langkawi, Andaman Is., Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, and others in Southeast Asia and the western Pacific islands. This species was first described in 1827 by Blume.

Description

Rhizophora apiculata is a flowering plant species found in coastal and tidal areas. It is part of the genus Rhizophora, which includes several mangrove species. The tall-stilt mangrove is adapted to saline and brackish water environments and is commonly found in tropical mangrove ecosystems.
