Mammillaria matudae is a species of cactus in the Cactaceae family, native to Mexico. It was named in honor of the botanist Eizi Matuda and was first described in 1956 by Bravo.

Mammillaria matudae, often referred to as the thumb cactus, is a member of the Cactaceae family and is found in central and southwestern Mexico. The species was published in 1956 by Bravo and is part of the genus Mammillaria. Its scientific name honors the botanist Eizi Matuda.
