Mammillaria backebergiana is a cactus species in the family Cactaceae, native to Mexico. It grows on cliffs at elevations of approximately 1,900 meters.

Description

Mammillaria backebergiana, described by F.G. Buchenau in 1966, is a member of the Cactaceae family. It is distributed in Mexico Central and Mexico Southwest, as well as the Galápagos Islands and other regions. The species is adapted to rocky habitats and is found at high elevations.
