Sorbus maderensis is a species of the genus Sorbus in the family Rosaceae. It is native to the region of Madeira and is known as Madeira mountain ash. The species was first described in 1907 by (Lowe) Dode. It is classified as being at risk due to the reduction of its natural habitat.

Description

Sorbus maderensis is a member of the Rosaceae family and is found only in Madeira. It is a type of rowan and is known by the common name Madeira mountain ash. The species was formally published in 1907. Due to the degradation and loss of its habitat, it is considered to be under threat.
