Macroptilium erythroloma is a species in the genus Macroptilium, belonging to the Fabaceae family. It is native to several regions in South and Central America, including Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The species was first described in 1928 by the author (Mart. ex Benth.) Urb.

Description

Macroptilium erythroloma is a member of the Fabaceae family, commonly known as the legume or pea family. This species is distributed across various regions in South and Central America, including the Brazilian Northeast, Southeast, South, and West-Central, as well as parts of Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The species was formally described in 1928 under the authorship (Mart. ex Benth.) Urb. It is part of the genus Macroptilium, which includes a variety of leguminous plants found in tropical and subtropical regions.
