Lycium dasystemum is a species in the genus Lycium, belonging to the Solanaceae family. It was first described by Pojark in 1950 and is native to several regions in Central and South Asia.

Description

Lycium dasystemum is a member of the Solanaceae family, commonly known as the nightshade family. This species is distributed across several countries including Afghanistan, China (North-Central and Qinghai regions), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as in the Xinjiang region. The species was formally published in 1950 by the botanist Pojark.
