Description
Lozanella enantiophylla belongs to the Cannabaceae family and is native to various regions in South and Central America. It is documented in locations such as Parque Nacional Natural Las Orquídeas, as well as in the departments of Antioquia, Cesar, La Guajira, Magdalena, Nariño, Quindío, Risaralda, and Santander in Colombia. The species is also present in Tolima and Jardín Botánico de Bogotá. Its geographic range extends beyond the Americas to include Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico Central, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Southeast, Mexico Southwest, Panamá, Peru, and Venezuela. The species was first published in 1931 by (Donn.Sm.) Killip & C.V.Morton.
