Phoenix loureiroi is a palm species in the Arecaceae family, native to southern Asia. It is found in countries such as the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and China. The species grows in deciduous and evergreen forests as well as open areas, from sea level up to 1,500 m altitude.

Description

Phoenix loureiroi is a member of the Arecaceae family and is native to southern Asia. Its distribution includes regions like the Philippines, Taiwan, India, southern Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and China. This palm thrives in both deciduous and evergreen forests, as well as in open landscapes, at elevations ranging from sea level to 1,500 m. The species was first described in 1841 by Kunth.
