Description
Lomelosia prolifera (L.) Greuter & Burdet is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family and is found in Cyprus, East Aegean Is., Lebanon-Syria, Libya, Palestine, Sinai, and Turkey. The plant is characterized by its creamy yellow flowers that bloom between February and May. Once the petals drop, the remaining dried flowers take on a greenish hue, making them useful for decorative purposes. The species was formally described in 1985.
