Lomelosia crenata is a species in the genus Lomelosia, belonging to the family Caprifoliaceae. It was first described in 1985 by Greuter and Burdet, based on earlier work by Cirillo. The species is native to several regions in southern Europe and northern Africa, including Albania, Algeria, Greece, Italy, Sicily, Tunisia, and Yugoslavia.

Description

Lomelosia crenata is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family, commonly known as the honeysuckle family. This species is distributed across parts of the Mediterranean basin and North Africa. It is found in Albania, Algeria, Greece, Italy, Sicily, Tunisia, and Yugoslavia. The plant was formally published in 1985 by botanists Greuter and Burdet, who reclassified it from its earlier treatment by Cirillo. The species is part of the genus Lomelosia, which includes other flowering plants with similar morphological characteristics.
