Leucadendron loeriense, known as the Loerie Conebush, is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape in South Africa, specifically in the Elandsberg, Baviaanskloof, and Groot-Winterhoek mountains. The plant reaches a height of 2.5 m and flowers between December and January. It is part of the fynbos vegetation and was described by I. Williams in 1967.

Description

Leucadendron loeriense is a flowering shrub belonging to the genus Leucadendron in the Proteaceae family. It is indigenous to the Western Cape region, where it grows in specific mountainous areas. The shrub typically reaches a height of 2.5 meters and produces flowers during the months of December and January. This species is an integral part of the fynbos ecosystem. The scientific name was first published in 1967 by I. Williams.
