Loasa sclareifolia Juss. is a species in the genus Loasa, belonging to the family Loasaceae. It is native to Argentina South, as well as central and northern regions of Chile. The species was first described in 1804.

Description

Loasa sclareifolia is a member of the Loasaceae family, a group of flowering plants primarily found in the Americas. The genus Loasa includes approximately 100 species, many of which are native to South America. This species is distributed across southern Argentina and the central and northern parts of Chile. The plant is adapted to the environmental conditions of these regions, which include diverse climates and terrains. The scientific name was first published in 1804 by the botanist Jussieu, who contributed significantly to the classification of South American flora.
