Description

Tagetes micrantha is a wild marigold species in the family Asteraceae. It is commonly called licorice marigold and is found in regions including Chihuahua to Oaxaca in Mexico, as well as in the southwestern United States. Its distribution includes areas such as Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and several regions in Mexico. The species was first described in 1797 by Cav.
