Licaria debilis

Licaria debilis (Mez) Kosterm. is a member of the Lauraceae family, a group of aromatic evergreen trees and shrubs. This species is distributed across several regions in northern and southeastern Brazil, as well as in French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. It was formally described in 1937. The genus Licaria includes a variety of species found primarily in the Neotropical region. As part of the Lauraceae, L. debilis is likely to share characteristics such as simple, entire leaves and small, fragrant flowers typical of the family.
