Scilla sardensis, known as Lesser Glory-Of-The-Snow, is a bulbous perennial native to west Turkey. It blooms in early spring and enters dormancy after flowering. This species is part of a group previously classified under the genus Chionodoxa and is now considered part of Scilla sect. Chionodoxa. It was first published in 1971.

Description

Scilla sardensis is found in regions including Belgium, Brussels-Capital Region, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Flemish Region, Walloon Region, former Czechoslovakia, and Turkey. It is a member of the Asparagaceae family and is part of the genus Scilla. The species was described by Speta in 1971, based on earlier work by Whittall ex Barr & Sugden.
