Leontodon hyoseroides is a species in the Asteraceae family, native to various European countries including Slovenia, Portugal, Liechtenstein, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, France, and Yugoslavia. It was first described in 1832 by Welw. ex Rchb.

Description

Leontodon hyoseroides is characterized by slender stems that can grow up to 20 to 30 cm in height, typically glabrous or nearly so. The leaves are pinnatifid with a narrow apex and are also glabrous or nearly so. The involucre measures 13 to 15 mm and is similarly glabrous or nearly so. This species was previously classified as a subspecies of Leontodon hispidus and described in detail in the Flora Europaea.
