Tagetes lemmonii, known as Lemmon's marigold, is a shrubby marigold species in the family Asteraceae. It is native to Arizona, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, and Pasto. The plant is also referred to by other English names such as Copper Canyon daisy, mountain marigold, and Mexican marigold. It was first described in 1883 by A.Gray.

Description

Tagetes lemmonii is a species of marigold belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is found in the regions of Arizona, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, and Pasto. Commonly called Lemmon's marigold, it is also known by other names including Copper Canyon daisy, mountain marigold, and Mexican marigold. This species was published by A.Gray in 1883.
