Ledebouria ovatifolia, known as the flat-leaved African hyacinth, is a bulbous flowering plant in the Asparagaceae family. It is native to South Africa and Lesotho and is noted for its variable spotted leaves and attractive flowers. Though popular among succulent enthusiasts, it is not a true succulent.

Description

Ledebouria ovatifolia (Baker) Jessop is a species in the genus Ledebouria, part of the Asparagaceae family. It is distributed across the Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Lesotho, Northern Provinces, and Swaziland. The plant is characterized by its spotted leaves and showy flowers. It was formally described in 1970.
