Lastreopsis poecilophlebia is a species in the fern family Dryopteridaceae, native to Queensland. It was first described in 2014 by Labiak, Sundue, and R.C. Moran, based on earlier work by Hooker.

Description

Lastreopsis poecilophlebia belongs to the Dryopteridaceae family, a group of ferns commonly known as the wood fern family. This species is part of the genus Lastreopsis, which includes a variety of ferns primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions. The plant is native to Queensland, Australia, and was formally published in 2014 by Labiak, Sundue, and R.C. Moran, with the original description attributed to Hooker. As a member of the Dryopteridaceae family, it shares characteristics typical of this group, such as lance-shaped fronds and a terrestrial growth habit. The species is currently recognized as part of the Lastreopsis genus, which is distinguished by its unique leaf morphology and spore-producing structures.
