Parnassia grandifolia is a flowering herbaceous plant in the family Celastraceae, commonly known as largeleaf grass of Parnassus. It was first described in 1824 and is native to the southeastern and central United States.

Description

Parnassia grandifolia is a member of the genus Parnassia and is found in states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. This species is characterized by its large leaves and belongs to the Celastraceae family, which is known as the staff-vine family in English.
