Lancea tibetica is a herbaceous plant in the Mazaceae family, native to regions in China, Bhutan, India, Mongolia, Sikkim, and Nepal. It grows in grasslands, sparse forests, and along streams at elevations between 2000 and 4500 meters.

Description

Lancea tibetica, described by Hook.f. & Thomson in 1857, is a member of the genus Lancea. It is distributed across China North-Central, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Mongolia, Nepal, Qinghai, and Tibet, as well as the West Himalaya. This plant is commonly found in high-altitude habitats such as grasslands and sparse forests, particularly in the Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, and Tibet Autonomous Region areas of China.
