Rorippa aquatica, commonly known as Lake Watercress, is a freshwater aquatic flowering plant in the Brassicaceae family. It is a submerged perennial with emergent flowering branches, found in slow-moving water such as oxbow lakes. Native to eastern and central North America, it is used as a foreground aquarium plant due to its undemanding and slow-growing nature.
